Ivan Anderson, 65, Doon, died July 5 at his home following a lengthy illness.

Services were at 10:30 a.m., July 7 at the Congregational Church in Doon. The Rev. David Waterman officiated. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery in Doon under direction of the Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley.

Mr. Anderson was born July 29, 1910 in Doon. He married Bertha Tiedemann, February 1, 1938 in Hull. He was a salesman for the Electrolux Vacuum Cleaner Co. and a lifelong Doon resident.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Don and Jon, both of Doon,; three daughters, Mrs. Wendall (Marilyn) De Jong of Sheldon; Mrs. Jim (Marlene) Tricoli of Albuquerque, N.M., and Mrs. Loyal (Linda) Siebrands of Doon; four brothers, Adolph of Doon, Elmer of Canton, SD, Warren of Rock Valley and Jim of Hawarden; a sister, Mrs. Judson (Fran) Smith of Rock Valley; and 12 grandchildren.
