Kenneth Lind of Miller, S.D., formerly of Ireton was one of four persons killed near Whittemore, Iowa, Sunday evening when the car in which they were riding was struck by a Milwaukee passenger train. Kenneth lived near Ireton with his mother and grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Ben Magnus. They moved to Miller, S.D. about six years ago. Mrs. A. W. Bartlett left Monday morning for Miller to attend the funeral.
