Mrs. Minnie (Molly) Martin, 68, of Gladbrook, a former long time Hawarden resident, died last Friday in the Deaconess hospital at Marshalltown. She had been in poor health for three or four years, suffering from a heart ailment.

Mrs. Martin left Hawarden about 10 years ago, going to Gladbrook, her old home. Burial was at Gladbrook.

She is survived by a son, Herb Scholdt, who is a guard at the state prison at Fort Madison. She also reared a niece, Mrs. Madeline Christy McCloren of Des Moines. She was a niece of John Berner of Hawarden.
