Mrs. Cornie Hoekstra, 62, of Orange City died Sunday at a Sioux City hospital. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. M.S. Jorritsma officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City under direction of the VanGelder Funeral Home of Orange City.

Mrs. Hoekstra, the former H/Menrietta Elenbaas, was born June 4, 1915, in Springfield S.D. She was married March 1, 1934, in Orange City. The couple farmed in the Boyden area for 38 years and moved to Orange City in 1975. She was a member of t h e First Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include the widower; a son, Alvin of Kenosha, Wise; four daughters, Mrs. James (Joan) Horstman of Sioux Center, Mrs. Arnold (Marge) VanGelder of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Harold (Gladys) Hoekstra of Orange City and Mrs. Dennis (Karen) Vis of Minneapolis.; 15 grandchildren. and two sisters, Mrs. John (Thelma) Palsma of Springfield, S,D, and Frances Elenbaasof Orange City ,
