Mrs. John Hoekstra, 72, of Boyden died at a Sioux City hospital Saturday, September 27, Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Protestant Reformed Church of Hull with the Rev. Ronald Cammenga officiating.
Burial was in Hope Cemetery at Hull. The Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center was in charge.

Eva Elizabeth Te Paske was born on April 21. 1908, at Orange City where she attended school. She was married on Feb. 24. 1932, at Orange City. They lived on farms in the Sheldon and Boyden area and moved to Boyden in 1970.

Survivors include the widower; two daughters, Beverly Hoekstra of Edgerton, Minn., Mrs. Bernard (Margaret) Driesen of Boyden; a son, John Jr. of Jenison, Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. Allie Lubbers of Orange City, Mrs. Sarah Van Zee of Rock Valley, and Mrs. Francis Visser of Saint Petersburg, Fla.; and eight grandchildren
