Gilbert Hoeder, 56, of Sioux Center died Saturday in a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sioux Center. Dr. Thurman Rynbrandt officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Hoeder was born March 11, 1928 in Sioux Center. He married Tillie Brinkman Sept. 10, 1948 in Sioux Center. She died March 3, 1975.
He was a construction worker. There are no survivors.
