Clazina Hoefakker, 83, died Saturday, Augusl24, 1996, at her home.

Clazina Fluit was bom March 11 , 1913, in Sioux Center, Iowa. The family moved near Lestcr, Iowa, in 1919. She married Henry R. Hoefakker on Dec. 28, 1938, in Inwood, Iowa. They farmed near Rock Valley until they moved into town in January of l971. Her husband preceded her in death on November 6, 1975.

Survivors include two sons: Henry of Lynden, WA; and Teunis of Rock Valley; one daughter, Mrs. William (Clazina) Kooima of Rock Valley; one sister, Dora Klarenbeek of Rock Valley; 25 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Clazina was preceded in death by her hushand. Henry; two daughters, Wihnina Van Beek and Angeline Den Hoed; four brothers, Henry, William, Jella, and Teunis Fluit; three sisters, Jennie Rozeboom, Antonia Rozeboom, and Gertie Van Voorst, and a grandson. Sleven Hoefakker.

Services were Wednesday at the Netherlands Reformed Church inRock Valley, with burial at Valley View Cemetery. Visitation was ;at the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley
