John Hengeveld, 94, of Sioux Center, died Tuesday, March 31, in a hospital at Sioux Center.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Memorial Funeral Home at Sioux Center. Dr. Thurman Rynbrandt officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Hengeveld was born March 16, 1887, in The Netherlands. He came to the United States in 1912 and worked as a farm laborer in the Sioux Center area. He entered the nursing home in Sioux
Center in 1967. Survivors include relatives in The Netherlands.
