September 9, 1990 - March 4, 2012
Mr. Aric Orban, age 21, of rural Sheldon, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012, in Alton.
There will be a funeral service on Thursday, March 8, at 2:00pm, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City. The Rev. Sarah Nye and the Rev. Robert Donley will officiate. Interment will follow at the Nassau Township Cemetery near Alton. Visitation will be after 3:00pm on Wednesday, with the family present from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm, at the funeral home.
Aric Lee was born on September 9, 1990, in Orange
City, the son of Steven Joseph and Tammy Lee
(Schiltz) Orban. He was raised at Alton, where he
attended the MOC - Floyd Valley Schools.
He was currently living in rural Sheldon, and he operated a power washer at a hog confinement.
Aric enjoyed drawing, music, skateboarding, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his son, Jace Maras, of Orange City; his father, Steven Orban, and his wife,
Amy, of Sheldon; his mother, Tammy, and her husband, David Eyer, of Craig; four brothers,
Wesley Orban, and his wife, Tina, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Austen Orban, of Sheldon; Eric Eyer, of Orange City; and Zachary Eyer, of Craig; two sisters, Haley Orban, and Brittany, and her husband, Bryan Stephens, all of Sheldon; grandparents, Robert and Patricia Orban, of Le Mars; Gary and Mona Schiltz, of Craig; and Paul and Lois Stander, of Lake Park; a great-grandmother, June Schiltz, of Remsen; and a special friend, Jessica Van Dorn, of Orange City.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Edward Eyer.
