Willemina Niessink, 79, of Sioux Center, IA died Tuesday May 30, 2000 at the Sioux Center Community Hospital. Willemina was born to Ted and Gertrude (Keizer) De Vries on November 29, 1920 in Orange City, IA. She graduated from the Orange City High School. Willemina married Charles H. Niessink on August 27, 1947 in the First Reformed Church in Orange City. She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Sioux Center. She enjoyed ceramics, flowers, birds and nature, keeping in contact with friends and family with letters, cards and phone calls. She is survived by her husband of 52 years; daughter: Cheryl & Lt. Col. Bill Brown of Panama City, FL; son Bob & Sharon Niessink of Anchorage, A K ; grandchildren: Aaron & Kristine Brown, Luke Brown, Shannon Niessink, Amy & Tom Elmore, Chris, Cody, Matthew, Joshua, & Jordan Niessink; great-granddaughter: Megan Elmore; and sister Gertrude & Lawrence Van Roekel of Alton, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers.
