Hawarden Independent of June 1, 1922.
Died at Cherokee Hospital Mrs. Minnie Meins, who formerly resided on a farm 5 miles south and 2 miles east of Hawarden, died last Friday at the' State Hospital at Cherokee of acute endocarditis.

The remains were shipped to Hawarden and funeral services were held Sunday at the Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. Geo. Steinkamp, the pastor. Interment was made in Grace Hill cemetery.

The deceased was born in Germany Nov. 30, 1884, and died at Cherokee May 26, 1922, at the age of 37 years, 5 months and 26 days. She had been in poor health for some time and suffered with a mental disorder, finally being ------( a line not legible) a daughter, Mrs. Henry Freda Hildabrand Tragesser.
