Funeral Here Friday For Mrs. John Boer.
Mrs. John Boer (nee Minnie Hoffs) of Albert Lea, Minn., passed on at that place Monday evening. Services will be held at Albert Lea Thursday and the body will be brought to Alton for burial in Nassau cemetery beside her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. H. Hoffs, pioneer residents here, and her sister, Mrs. Hofland. Services will be held at one o'clock Friday at the First Reformed church with interment following. Arrange- ments for a pastor have not yet been made, in the absence of Rev. Tinklerberg. Mrs. Boer's son Roland made arrangements for the services and burial here. The Boer family lived here some years ago and are remembered kindIy by many friends.
