Mrs. Eva Grotenhuis (*Nee De Vries).
Mrs. Eva Grotenhuis passed away at a Sioux City hospital Sunday night after a long illness. Funeral services were held at 9:30 Wednesday morning at the 1st Reformed church here. Burial was at Albert Lea, Minn, beside her husband, the late William Grotenhuis.

Former Hospers Women Dies.
Eva Te Grotenhuis, 80, well known to many here, passed away at the St. Joseph Hospital in Sioux City Monday forenoon, Sept. 18. Mrs. Te Grotenhuis formerly of Hospers spent the past 3 years in the Convalescent Home at O.C. Three months ago she suffered injury to her hip and back from which she recovered. About 3 weeks ago she fractured her thigh-bone in a fall from her bed and was taken to the Sioux City hospital where she died. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Reformed Church of Hospers at 9:30 o'clock in the morning with Rev. G. Doctor in charge. The body was then taken to Hollandale, Minn., where her husband, the late Wm. Te Grotenhuis, died several years ago and lies buried. Surviving are the children: Edward of Hospers; Arie of Oregon; Bernard and Raymond of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Marion of Hollandale, Minn., and several grandchildren.
