Mrs. M. Pennings Dies Suddenly.
Mrs. Mina Penuings passed on at the Pioneer Memorial Home, Orange City, very suddenly on Friday morning, due to a heart attack. She was born at Varssenvelt [*Varsseveld], Gelderland, Netherlands, about 81 years ago. She came to America at the age of 18 years and several years later was married to Mr. Pennings. One son, Will, was born to this union. This son, also well known in Orange City, passed on about twenty-five years ago at Sheldon. One grandson, Wm. Pennings of Sioux City, and a great grandson survive Mrs. Pennings. Funeral services were held at the Home and burial was made in the the Sheldon cemetery next to the body of her son. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Pennings and son of Sioux City were here to make funeral arrangements and attended the services for their grandmother
