Jake Foreman.
Jake Foreman, who has been living in the Memorial Pioneer Home the past 6 (*or 8?) years, passed away on Jan. 4, at the age of 86 years. He was born at Franeker, Friesland, Netherlands, and came to America, in 1882, In 1883 he was married to Miss Martje Hoogerhuis, who passed away 18 years ago. Three children were born to them: Mrs. Jake Holster, Carnes, Mike of Seney, and George of near Orange City. He is also sur-vived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the First Reformed church with Rev. Colenbrander officiating. Burial was made in the local cemetery.
