MR. DICK VINK PASSES.
Two weeks ago Mr. Dick Vink became seriously ill and passed away Sunday evening, Feb. 4, at his home at the advanced age of 88(*?) years. He was bom in Gelderland, the Netherlands, on Nov. 9, 1851, and was married to Miss Naatje Scholten on July 6, 1877. Eleven children were born to the union and eight are left to mourn the death of their father, as follows: Albert and Gerrit of Hull, Mrs. Bert Te Brink (Jennie), Mrs. John Fedders (Annie), Mrs. I'. Kalenyn(*?) (Henrietta) of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by 39 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mrs. Vink passed away last May.
Funeral services were held at the home and First Christian Reformed church with Rev. Bronkema and Rev. Schuurman in charge. Interment took place at the local cemetery.
