OBITUARIES - MRS. ELIZABETH REINDERS.
Mrs. Elizabeth Reinders, had been seriously ill for some time following a stroke, died at her home Monday evening, September 11, at the age of 61 years. Mrs. Reinders was born November 26, 1877, at Pella, Iowa. After three years, the family moved to Sioux county where she spent the rest of her life. On October 18, 1900, she married Henry Vander Schoor at Orange City. From this marriage were born two children, Vernon of Orange City and Magdalene (Mrs. Russel Smith) of Manilla, Iowa, both of whom survive her. Upon the death of Mr. Vander Schoor, the deceased married Gerald Reinders of Orange City. Besides her two children, Mrs. Reinders is survived by four brothers: John Popma of Orange City, Walter Popma of Cherokee, Frank Popma of Boise, Idaho, and William Popma of Sioux Falls; and also by one sister, Mrs. H. H. Rozeboom of Orange City. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday.) at 2 o'clock in the American Reformed Church with Rev. Mr. LeRoy Nattress in charge, interment will be in the Orange City cemetery.
