SIOUX CENTER CITIZEN GONE
Fred Cleveringa Sr., one of Sionx Center’s respected citizens, passed away at about 5:30 Thursday afternoon, after a long illness. He had not been well since be suffered a stroke a few years ago, and for the past 12 weeks had been in the care of a nurse, following a few weeks treatment and rest at a hospital He was not quite 68(*?) years of age. He had lived in town since retiring from the farm, some years ago. He is survived by Mrs. Cleveringa, four children. Mrs. Henry Langstraat, John Cleveringa, Fred Cleveringa Jr., and William Cleveringa, all of Sioux Center; a number of stepchildren, as he was married the second time some years ago; and by several sisters and brothers; for all of whom the community feels much sympathy. Funeral services were held Monday at the home and First Ref. church, in charge of Rev. Brunsting
