Woudstra, 84 of Hospers died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 1993 at a hospital Sheldon, Iowa.
Services will be at 1:30 p. m. Friday at the First Christian Reformed Church in Hospers. Burial will be in the Hospers Cemetery.
Mrs. Woudstra, the former Dora Zylstra, was born Nov. 15, 1908 in Oudebildtzyk, Vriesland Holland, the daughter of Andrew and Dora (Palma) Zylstra. She came to America in June 1920 and lived with her parents in Hospers. She attended school in the Hospers Christian School. She married Ted Woudstra, Feb. 8, 1933 in Sheldon, Iowa. He died July 29, 1991. They farmed in Minnesota before coming to Hospers in 1946. They bought out the Verschoor Meat Market in Hospers. She moved to the Christian Retire ment Home in Sheldon in January 1992. In the spring of 1993 she moved to Oak Park Care Center in Sheldon. Mrs. Woudstra was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church in Hospers and of the Priscilla Society.
Survivors include a son, Leland and his wife, Mary of Hospers; a daughter, Donna and her husband, Allen Vander Veen of Sanborn, Iowa; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a sister Winnie Beuzekom of Denver, Colo.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
