OBITUARY.
Hendrikus Mouw was born in the Netherlands in 1846 and died at his home in Orange City on Sunday morning at about 9.00 o’clock, at the age of 70(*?) years.
Mr. Mouw came to America in 1872 and in 1874 he was married to Miss Wilhelmma Rouwenhorst. They settled on a farm 4 miles northeast of Orange City where they lived 36 years. Six years ago they came to Orange City. Mr. Mouw has been in poor health for more than two years. He leaves to mourn his loss a widow and nine children, namely:
Mrs. K. Vellinga. Mrs. G. Korver, Mrs. M. Korver, ..... [*unreadable first name] Mouw, Mrs. J . J. Kleinhesselink, Mrs. A. Plender, Mrs. H. Pennings, Mrs. P. Van Peursem and I. H. Mouw. The funeral took place on Wednesday at 1.30 at the house and 2.30(*?) at the church. Rev. Engelsman ..... charge of the services.

Hendrikus Mouw passed away on Sunday morning at the age of 68 years. About two years ago he had an attack of apoplexy and since he was in feeble health as a result of strokes he has had from time to time. He was born in the Netherlands. As a young man he came to this country in 1872. Two years later he was united in marriage to Wilhelmina Rouwenhorst. They lived on a farm northeast of town for 36 years and years ago they came to town. Deceased is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Evert Vellinga, Mrs. George Korver, Mrs. Martin Korver, Otto, Mrs. J.J. Kleinhesselink, Mrs. Henry Pennings, Mrs. P. Van Peursum and John H. all living here, and Mrs. A. Plender near Boyden. Also two brothers, H. Mouw in this city and Maas Mouw at Middleburg.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 P.M. at the house and at 3:00 o'clock in the First Reformed church.
