Mrs. A. J. Henry called to her reward. Lucinda Craig, the subject of this sketch was born in Henry county, Ind., April 11,, 1850. she was the daughter of John Craig and Matilda Dadley and in her early girlhood emigrated with her parents to Harrison County MO. Here she met and was joined in wedlock to A. J. Henry, November 21, 1868 and together they spent fifty-five years and seventeen days of happy and useful life. Before the messenger of death summoned her to that great beyond from which no traveler ere returns, Sunday, December 9th 1923 at Havre MT.

She was a member of the W. R. C. the order of the eastern Star, the Rebeckahs, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She united with the Congregational church at Hull, Iowa a number of years ago, and all her life was a conscientious Christian as was manifested by her many acts of kindness and charity.

She was always ready to assist the sick and needy, no one ever passed her door if she knew he were hungry. She was known as Grandma Henry and the evidence of her popularity was shown in the many beautiful flowers from all parts of the country where she was so well and favorable know indication of the high esteem in which she was held by those who cherished her kindness, friendship and love.

Four daughters were born in this union. Mrs. D. C. Leaming of Spokane WA, Mrs. I. T. Miller who preceded her in death. Mr. Clara McMillen of Sanborn IA and Mrs. A. F. McKellar of Hancock MN. Besides the three daughters surviving there are five grandchildren. E.HJ. Miller of Havre MT, Victor Miller of Tulsa OK, Eva Holton of Albertons MR. Charles Coleman of Spokane WA and A. W. McMillen of San Francisco CA, and three great grandchildren. Eva Elizabeth and Jack Mill of Harve MT and Eve Bolton of Albertson MT

Mrs. Leaming and son Charles Coleman Mrs. A. F. McKellar, Mr. and Mrs. Bolton and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. E. I. Miller together with the invalid husband accompanied the remains to Hull for burial. The daughter Mrs. McMillen was also present at the funeral.

The funeral was held in the M. E church at Two o’clock Thursday afternoon December 13th. Rev. w. c. Bergman preached the sermon, a quartette rendered two beautiful songs and the Rebeckah Lodge carried out their service.

She was laid to rest in the beautiful Hope cemetery under the direction of the Rebeckah Lodge in their impressive burial service.
The many old friends in attendance at the funeral attested to the esteem in which she was held in this community.
