DEATH CLAIMS LITTLE CHILD

Two-Year-Old Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merton L. Henry Died Monday Beatrice Arlene, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merton L. Henry, residing west of Alcester, passed away about noon Monday after a few days illness from whooping cough.

The little girl had always been frail and did not possess sufficient vigor to withstand the violence of a whooping cough attack. Besides her parents she is survived by one little brother and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Henry of Hawarden and Mr. and Mrs. Gust Nelson of Alcester. She was born March 14, 1925, so was only a little past 2 years of age.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Hawarden Wednesday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. J. W. LaGrone, after which the little form was tenderly laid to rest in Grace Hill cemetery. The parents and other relatives have the sincere sympathy of all in their sorrow,
Relatives from a distance here to attend the funeral were Mrs. Will Carlson and son Lyle and daughters, Carol and Helen, and Mrs. Bert Strom and baby of Ft. Dodge, Iowa.
