Sioux County Index, Hull, December 18, 1985

Joyce E. De Leeuw, 40, of Orange City died Saturday, Dec. 14 in the Sioux Center Comm. Hospital after a long illness.

Services were at 1:30 p.m., in the Free Grace Reformed Church in Middleburg. The Rev. Robert Hector officiated. Burial was in Middleburg Cemetery under the direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City.

Miss De Leeuw was born July 14, 1945, in Sioux Center. She lived most of her life in rural Orange City and presently was residing at Hope Haven RTC, participating in a training program.

Miss De Leeuw was a member of the Free Grace Reformed Church.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. & Mrs. William De Leeuw of Sioux Center and four sisters, Mrs. Jim (Elizabeth) Wynja of Melvin; Mrs. Pete (Donna) Vonk and Mrs. Paul (Carol) Adkins, both of Sioux Center, and Mrs. Marv. (Marilyn) Faber of Boyden.

A memorial has been established in her name with Hope Haven.
