Antina Mooi
Mrs. Herman (Antina) Mooi, 86, of Orange City died Tuesday in the Orange City Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Notier-Ver Lee- Langeland Funeral Home of Holland, Mich. The Rev. Raymond Denekas will officiate. Burial will be in the Pilgrim Home Cemetery at Holland. The Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley was in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Mooi, the former Antina Toren, was born July 16, 1896, in Chicago, 111., where she attended grade and business school. She married Herman Mooi June 24, 1920, in Chicago. In 1922 they moved to Holland. He was in the roofing business until 1955 when they retired and moved to New Port Richey, Fla. In 1980 they moved to the Pioneer Memorial Home in Orange City. Mrs. Mooi was a member of the First Reformed Church in Orange City.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, James R. and Dale E., both of Holland; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Edith) Denekas of Rock Valley; seven grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
