MRS. GEORGE GOEDHART
Funeral services for Mrs. George Goedhart of Minneapolis, Minn., who passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 29, were held Friday, April 1, at Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home and at the First Reformed church in Hospers with Rev. G. Doctor and Rev. A. Hellinga officiating. Burial was in the Hospers Cemetery with Vander Ploeg's in charge of arrangements.

Hattie Lyftogt was born in the Netherlands October 9, 1890. She came to America in 1901 with her parents and settled near Sheldon. On December 13, 1910 she was united in marriage to George Goedhart, and lived near Hospers; Sibley; Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Sheldon. To this union five children were born; Edward of Minneapolis, Dorothy (Mrs. Gordan Stubstad) of St. Paul, Gerard of Hospers, Iowa, Raymond and Francis
both of Minneapolis, Minn.

She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: John Lyftogt of Orange City, Joe Lyftogt of Lane, S. Dak., Ben Lyftogt of Sheldon, Iowa, Alice (Mrs. Joe Den Beste) of Sheldon and Gerrit I.yftogt of Sheldon. There are nine grandchildren. Her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Gerrit Lyftogt and one brother Henry preceded her in death. Mrs. Goedhart moved to Minneapolis in 1938 and was employed as a nurse's aid in the Northwestern Hospital of Minneapolis until 7 months prior to her death when she became ill.
