Former Resident Dies at Age 57
Duane E. (Glory) Glorfield, 57, of Sioux City, former Hawarden resident, died in a hospital there Tuesday following a long illness.

He was employed in the furniture department of the Younker-Davidson store.

Mr. Glorfield was born; August 28, 1902 in Waterloo, la. He resided in Hawarden when his father was employed at a filling station here and is a graduate of Hawarden high school.

He later attended Coe college at Cedar Rapids. He resided in Hartley before moving to Sioux
City.

On October 21, 1930, he married Joyce Keith in Sioux City to which union two sons were born.

Mr. Glorfield was a member of Mayflower Congregational church, Triangle lodge 643, A. F. & A. M, Columbian Commandery 18 Knights Templar and Abu Bekr Shrine.

Survivors include the widow two sons Stephen, at home, and Keith of Omaha; the mother, Mrs R. B. Glorfield of Sioux Falls, and two grandchildren.
The Northside Nelson-Berger Funeral home has charge of arrangements.
