Herman Holtkamp. 90, Hawarden.
died Thursday, March 19, in a care center
at Hawarden.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev.Dwight Rengstorf officiated. Burial was in Grace Hili Cemetery. There was a prayer service at 8 p.m. Friday in the Dow Funeral Home.
Mr. Holtkamp was born April 3, 1890, at Osnabruck. Germany. He came to the United States In 1912. He worked in Jones County before coming to the Hawarden area In 1914.
He married Clara Johnson Feb. 19, 1981, at Hawarden. They farmed in the Hawarden area until 1953 when they retired and moved to town. She died Sept. 23, 1980.
Mr. Holtkamp was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son. Elmer of Hawarden: a sister. Mrs. Anna Dependahl of Osnabruck; two grandchildren and a great grandchild.
