The many friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. James De Jong who reside three and a half miles southoast of Maurice, will learn vith feelings of the doopest sorrow and regret of the unexpected death of their oldest daughter. Miss Minnie De Jong, on Thursday, October the 5th, at the residence of her uncle,John De Jong at Thornton, Washington.
During the many years that sho resided in this vicinity her amiable and kind hearted disposition won her the esteem and good will of
all that knew her, and the pages of life's work vhich were closed so suddenly by the hand of death, show the record of a well spent and happy
Christian life. The funeral is announced to take place on Friday,October 13th, at two p . m:, from the Holland church in Maurice.
Rev. P. Ihrman will preach the funeral services.
