Ireton, IA - Lawrence Vellinga, 61, of Sioux Falls, formerly of Ireton, died Tuesday in a Sioux Falls hospital of a brief illness.

Mr. Vellinga was born April 9, 1920 at Ogilvie, MN, and was reared in Ireton. He lived at Topeka, Kan. for five years before coming to Sioux Falls in 1960.

He married Delores Rose Heuer on Feb. 18, 1957 at Luverne, MN.

Survivors include the widow; four daughters; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, and two sisters.
