Died at Big Springs

Edward Mattson died at the home of his parents near Big Springs Dec. 28, 1907, after an illness of nearly two years from tuberculosis. He was born at Big Springs Jan. 9, 1876. For nearly two years he has been an invalid and for a portion of the time was bedfast in this city. During that time his sister Anna watched and cared for him with a fidelity and sisterly love that is worthy of admiration. The deceased was a member of the Odd Fellow and Masonic orders. A number of the members of the Odd Fellow lodge of this city attended the funeral and had charge of the services at the grave.
