Interment: Memory Gardens Cemetery - Sioux Center, Iowa
Henry Jansen Jr. was born to Henry Sr. & Cornelia (Van Velzen) Jansen
on November 22, 1936 in Sioux Center. He grew up in the Lebanon, IA
area. He married Winona Wissink in Sioux Center on November 22, 1955.
Junior was in the construction business for many years, retiring due to health reasons. He was an honorary volunteer fireman. He enjoyed all sport
activities. Junior volunteered much of his time at the Heritage Village.
Survivors include his wife; his mother; three sons and their wives: Jeff and Tina of Sioux Center, IA, Gregg and Mary of Omaha, NE, Scott and Diane of Sioux Falls, SD; three daughters and their husbands: Beth and Bob Zeutenhorst of Maurice, IA, Cathy and Jake Wagenaar of Sioux Center,
IA, Carol and Bruce Hofmeyer of Orange City, IA; 15 grandchildren:
Bobbie, Jamie, and Codie Zeutenhorst; Chad, Eric and Joey Hofmeyer; Derek and Tanya Jansen; Jodi and Jared Jansen; Nick, Alex, Ben, Chelsea
and Mary Sara Jansen; two brothers and their wives: Ed and Marie of Clara City, MN and Cornie and Ruth of Hudson, SD; two sisters: Anna Marie
Gortsema of Grangeville, ID, and Margaret (Mike) and Ken Gerritson of Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his father and brother (Don.)
Memorials can be given to the Sioux Center Community Hospital for the advancement of care for patients with Kidney Disease.
