Dena, daughter of John and Mary Hubers was born on April 19, 1888 at New Holland, South Dakota. She attended school and lived her youth in Sioux Center. She was united in marriage with John A. De Zeeuw of Sioux Center on Aug. 14, 1923 at Perkins. Their married life was lived in rural Sioux Center and they retired in Sioux Center. She was a faithful member of the First Reformed Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a member of the Dorcas Circle Mr. De Zeeuw passed away June 10, 1972, at the Sioux Center Community Hospital Nursing Wing.
She is survived by one son and two daughters; Dorothy Mae (Mrs. Reinard Dykstra); Mary Jean (Mrs. Joe Wynja); and John E. all of Sioux Center; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two half brothers, Donald and Gerald Hubers; one step sister, Mrs. Frank Bomgaars; two half sisters, Mrs.
Peter Cappendyk and Mrs. Jack Versluys.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, one brother, three step sisters and two step brothers.

Funeral services for Mrs. John A De Zeeuw,93, Sioux Center were held Monday, July 20, in the First Reformed Church , Sioux Center. Dr. Thurman Rynbrandt conducted the 1:30 P.M. SERVICES. Interment was in Memory Gardens, Sioux Center, and arrangement were completed by their Memorial Funeral Home.

Der Zeeuw of Sioux Center on August 14, 1923 at Perkins . Their married life was in rural Sioux Center and they retired in Sioux Center. Mr. De Zeeuw passed away June 10, 1972. She passed away Friday July 17, at the Sioux Center Community Hospital Nursing Wing.

She is survived by one son and two daughters; Dorothy Mae (Mrs. Reinard Dykstra) Mary Jean (Mrs. Joe Wynja); and John E, all of Sioux Center; 13 grandchildren; 3 great- great grandchildren; two half brothers, Donald and Gerald Hubers; one step sister, Mrs. Frank Bomgaars; two half sisters, Mrs.Peter Cappendyk and Mrs. Jack Versluys.
