DICK VER MULM FUNERAL SERVICES HELD WEDNESDAY

Last rites for Dick Ver Mulm were held Wednesday, May 24, at 1:00 p.m. at the home and at 1:30 in the First Reformed church, with Rev. H. C. Van Deelen officiating. Interment was made in the Valley View cemetery.

Mr. Ver Mulm was born on May 11, 1891, in the Netherlands. He came to Rock Valley at the age of 10 years and has resided here since that time. On February 23, 1915, he was united in marriage with Tena Steenhoven. To this union was born one daughter, Marie.

Mr. Ver Mulm worked for Joe Peters until 1915, at which time he started his own business of shoe repairing. He was active in this work until his sudden death on Sunday, May 21, 1950.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his widow, one daughter, Marie (Mrs. Peter De Kam) of Ashton; two brothers, Case Ver Mulm of Ashton and Charles Steenhoven of Sibley; two sisters, Marie (Mrs. Henry Reimersma) of Sheldon and Jennie (Mrs. Ike Mulder) of Larchwood.

Pallbearers were Gilbert De Zeeuw, Ray Miedema, Gerrit Wissink, Gerrit Visser, Steve Faber and Tim Kooima.
