Anna Ver Mulm, 76, of Hudson, SD, died on Thursday, August 22, 1991 at her daughter's home in Brandon, SD after a long illness.

Services were held on Monday morning, August 26, 1991 at the First Reformed Church in Rock Valley where she was a member, the Reverend Henry Poppen officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Ireton, IA, under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home in Hudson.

Mrs. Ver Mulm, the former Anna Mantel, was born July 3, 1915 at Lebanon, IA, the daughter of Jacob and Marie (Koning) Mantel. She married Herbert Ver Mulm on December 1, 1937 at Rock Valley. They farmed near Edgerton, MN, and Ireton, then moved to Hudson where they lived for 46 years. Mr. Ver Mulm died in March, 1981.

Survivors include four sons and their wives, Bill and Jan Ver Mulm and Harley and Jan Ver Mulm, all of Hudson, Darwin and Margaret Ver Mulm of Leavenworth, KS, and Russel and Pam Ver Mulm of Brandon; three daughters and their husbands, Marcene and Marion Ver Berg of Rock Valley, Carol and Walter Baker of Brandon and Pam and Jim Bockelman of Hawarden, IA; two brothers, Clarence Mantel of Tucson and Bill Mantel of Ontario, CA; a sister, Effie Winterswyk of China, CA; 16 grand-children; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Ver Mulm.
