SIKKE HOOGETERP
Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church In Orange City at 1:30 P.M. November 14 for Sikke Hoogeterp, 95, longtime Orange City resident, who died at the Orange City Hospital November 11 after a short Illness. Services were conducted by the Rev. Raymond Van Heukelom and burial was in the Newkirk Cemetery.
Mr. Hoogeterp was born August 24, 1878, in The Netherlands. He came to the U. S. In 1903. He operated a shoe repair and Sales business both at Orange City and at Newkirk for many years.
Survivors include a brother, Hildebrand
of Orange City.
