Mrs. Ver Mulm, 78, Victim of Heart Attack

Mrs. Tillie Ver Mulm, 78, died here Tuesday [March 12] at the home of a son, Jake, after suffering a heart attack.

Mrs. Ver Mulm was born September 11, 1878, in The Netherlands. She had been a resident here the last 60 years. Mr. Ver Mulm died several years ago.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ver Sluys, Elkton, S.D.; Mrs. Louis Middle and Mrs. Albert Gerritsen, both of Rock Valley; six sons, Case, Jake and William, all of Rock Valley, Frank and Herbert, both of Hudson, S.D., and Robert of Alton, Ia.; four brothers, Peter Wassenaar of Catalina, Cal.; Gerrit Wassenaar of Steen, Minn.; and Jake and Sam Wassenaar, both of Rock Valley; 35 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Vander Ploeg funeral home here and at 1:30 p.m. at the First Reformed church. Rev. A. Dykstra will officiate and burial will be in Valley View cemetery.
