Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Van Voorst are mourning the death of their little three-year-old daughter, Hattie, who passed away last Saturday from measles and pneumonia. The funeral and burial occurred at Rock Valley Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Van Voorst have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.--Alvord Register.

Mrs. Van Voorst's obituary (Sioux Center News, July 9, 1964) calls her Hendrika. The Sioux County Cemetery Index spells her name Hendrieka.
