Mrs. Richard Vermeer, nee Katherine Roos, passed away at her home early Monday morning at the age of 72 years, 9 months and 7 days. Mrs. Vermeer was united in marriage on September 4, 1907 and on February 25, 1952 he preceded her in death. To this union five children were born, Edward R.: Ellen, who at present is teaching in Wurzburg, Germany; Geneva; Andrew; and Estella, Mrs. Floyd Achterhof. Three sons died in infancy. Mrs. Vermeer is further survived by 11 grandchildren and the brothers and sisters, Mrs. Mary Bos of Hull; Willie Roos; Neal Roos and John Roos all of Denver. Three brothers and two sisters preceded her.
