Mrs. Jake G. Vermeer (nee Minnie Rozeboom) passed away early Thursday morning in Sioux Center at the age of 78 years. On February 12, 1914, in Sioux Center, she was united in marriage to Jake G. Vermeer who preceded her in death on December 8, 1966. To this union, one daughter was born , Priscilla, Mrs. Henry Kosters of Sioux Center. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Larry Kosters, Lorraine, Mrs. Dan Vicker; and James Kosters. In addition she is survived by two great-grandchildren Audra and Ryan, and the following sisters and brother:
Mina, Mrs. Art Franken of Sioux Center; Johanna, Mrs. John Cleveringa of Sioux Center, Rev. Gerrit J. Rozeboom of Holland, Michigan; and Elizabeth Mrs. John Van Maanen of Sioux Center. She was preceded in death by one brother John. Her passing is mourned by many friends and relatives.
