Priscilla, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Schuiteman, was born September 11, 1913, at Sioux Center, Iowa. She lived her youth in Sioux Center and attended the Public School. She was united in marriage to Edwin J. Vermeer on September 12, 1940, in the First Reformed Church of Sioux Center, Iowa. They lived on a farm and moved into town about twenty years ago.
Mrs. Vermeer passed away May 20, 1987, at her home at the age of seventy-three years, eight months, and nine days.
She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Sioux Center, Iowa, Priscilla Circle, and was Treble Choir Director for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Ed; her son, Glen of Sioux Center, Iowa; her daughter, Lois Broughton of Seattle, Washington; five grandchildren; two sisters, Allie (Mrs. Sam Schutt) and Henrietta Schuiteman, both of Sioux Center, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John; and a sister, Mrs. William G. Hulstein.
