Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 22, at 1:30 for Mrs. Richard Younie, aged 98, who passed away March 20. Rev. Herbert Young will officiate at the services to be held at the Associated Church and burial will be at Grace Hill Cemetery.

Vinetta McAninch was born on Feb. 11, 1875 in Jackson County, Iowa the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter McAninch. She lived in Jackson County until the age of 12, moving to Sioux County with her parents who located on a farm five miles East of Hawarden. She was united in marriage to Richard Younie on Feb. 9, 1893 and they lived on a farm near Hawarden until 1917. She had made her home in Hawarden since that time.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Warren (Lucille) French of Hawarden; one grandson Charles French of Rochester, Minn. and great grandchildren, Greg and Christi French also of Rochester.
