Harm E.Ten Napel,86, of Ireton died Nov. 15 at a Sioux Center Hospital. Funeral services were held on Monday, Nov 19 at the First Reformed Church in Ireton with Rev. Harold Lenters officiating. Burial services were held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Dow Funeral Home of Ireton.
Ten Napel was born Nov. 8, 1887 in the Netherlands. He came to the United State at the age of 4 settled in the Sioux Center area. He farmed in the Ireton, Sioux Center area until retiring in 1945 and moved to Ireton. He sold insurance from 1945 until 1971. He was a member of the First Reformed Church. He married Mary Borgman Feb. 21, 1912 in Sioux Center. She died Oct 7, 1960. He then married Montine London June 1, 1961 in Ireton.
Survivors include the widow; five daughters, Mrs. Jack (Bernice) De Vries of Clatskanie, Ore., Mrs. Charles (Esther) Wells of Lake Benton, Minn.,Mrs. Edward (Mildred) Van Donge of Ireton, Mrs. John (Mary Jean)Barinsky of Hawarden and Mrs. William (Arlene) Reuter of Le Mars; two sons, Edwin of Ireton and Lawrence of Chicago, Ill., a sister , Mrs. Fannie Kuhl of Beleflower, Calif.;29 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
