Pauline Wagers, Mother of Cyril Wagers, passed away Friday Aug. 30, at the age of 78. She had made her home at the Morningside Manor Nursing Home in Alcester,SD. for the past five and one half years. Before going to the Home, she had lived in Sioux City for about 40 years, where she operated an apartment house.

Besides her parents and her husband Earl , Pauline was preceded in death by 6 sisters and 3 brothers. Survivors include; a son Cyril of Hawarden; two grandsons, Bob of Hawarden and Stevens of Greeley, Colorado; also two great granddaughters, Dawn and Heather, also of Greeley; brother, Barney Beckman lives in a nursing home at Lennox,SD., and also a large number of nieces and nephews.

Rosary was recited at the Dow Funeral Home Sat. Sept 1, conducted by Father Carel. A prayer services was held at the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington, Nebr., on Sunday eve, Sept. 2 and mass was celebrated at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. Monday. Sept. 3 by Father Werner. Burial services were held at St. Michael's Cemetery at Hartington.
