Funeral Today for Dr. Gerrit Vermeer
Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the Congregational church of Sheldon for Dr. Gerrit Vermeer, 75, who died early Tuesday at the Sheldon hospital. He had been ill for about two weeks after suffering a heart attack.
Survivors include the widow and two daughters, Marguerite at home and Mrs. Helen Hayes of Martins burg, West Virginia. Also a grandson, Gary Hayes, and the follow ing brothers and sisters, P. E. Ver meer and Jake Vermeer, Mrs Henry T. De Boer, Mrs. H. J Ramaker, Mrs. Asa Muilenburg and Mrs. Albert Ramaker, all of Sioux Center, and Mrs. Henry Mol of Grundy Center.
Burial will take place at th Sheldon cemetery.
