Daisy was the daughter of Henry Zeutenhorst and Jeannie (Hazes) Zeutenhorst.
On February 25,1935, she married John Van DerWeide at Orange City. They lived in the Maurice area most of their married life. Mr. Van Der Weide passed away July 4, 1975, at Maurice.
She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Maurice. She also belonged to the Senior Citizens Club, the Womens Club, and the Booster Club.
Survivors include her four sons, Duane Van Der Weide and his wife, Dorothy; Rodney Van DerWeide and his wife, Betty Lou; LeRoy Van Der Weide and his wife, Marietta; and Robert Zeutenhorst and his wife, Beth; all of Maurice; ten grandchildren; and three brothers and sister, Edward Zeutenhorst of Rock Rapids; Mrs. Thys (Irene) Kuitert of Grants Pass, Oregon; and John Zeutenhorst of Orange City.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Zeutenhorst.
