Mrs. Michael J. Puhl age 83 passed away at the Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars on August 14, 1973. Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 16, 1973, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. William Carel officiating with burial in the St. Mary Cemetery. Rosary 9:00 p.m. Wednseday at Dow Funeral Home.

She was born Theresa Westergard on May 28, 1890 at Hawarden. She was united in marriage to Michael Puhl on January 30, 1912 at Hawarden. Mr.Puhl preceded her in death on April 3,1973. They farmed in the Currie Minn. area from 1912 to 1918. From 1918 to 1960 they farmed in the Akron and Hawarden area. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs.Leonard (Beatrice) Feldhacker of Maurice and Mrs. Jack (Frances) Kramper of Jackson, Nebr.; two sons Robert of Struble and Vincent of Hawarden, 22 grandchildren and 4 great gransdchildren; one brother William Westergard of Le Mars and one sister , Mrs. Margaret Ronan of Canton South Dakota
