Merrill Elliott Dies At Hawarden Hospital, Age 74
Funeral services for Merrill J. Elliott,74 who died at the Hawarden hospital were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the St. John American Lutheran church at Craig. Rev. Donald Schmidt officiating with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Elliott was born Noivember 25, 1881, at Phillipston, Mass. He was a retired railroad station agent and telegrapher and had lived at Craig the last 44 years. He married Zora Galland on September 19, 1903 at St. Cloud, Minn.

Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. John Schoeklette of Sioux City and Mrs. Walter Baack of Craig; two sons, Glen of Sioux City and Donald of Craig; a sister, Mrs. Nellie McKenzie of East Jaffery, NH.;a brother, Fred of Athol, Mass; Four grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildrten
