April 29, 1947 - December 1, 2011

Mrs. Florencia Sandoval, age 64, of Hull, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011, at her residence.
There will be a funeral service on Saturday, December 3, at 7:30pm, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Sioux Center. The Rev. Fr. Douglas Klein will officiate. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, at 4:00pm, at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Rock Valley.
Visitation will be on Friday, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, with a rosary at 6:00pm, and on Saturday, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Hull.
Florencia was born on April 29, 1947, in El Savz de Los Marquez, Mexico, the daughter of Leonides and Aurora (Sandoval) Sandoval. She was one of thirteen children.
She lived in El Savz de Los Marquez and Arguascalientes, Mexico, El Monte, California, and Hull, Iowa, where she has made her home since 1993.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Survivors include five children and their spouces, Octavio and Virginia Mejia, of Sibley, Iowa; Ornaldo and Kristi Mejia, of Salt Lake City, Utah; Griselda and Aravindh Palaniswamy, of Irving, Texas; Claudia and Alejandro Carbajal, of Hull; and Nelly and Jorge A. Rosales, of Rock Valley; grandchildren, Eric Mejia, Edgar Omar Mejia, Gabriela Mejia, Octavio Mejia, Alan Mejia, Taylor Mejia, Nolan Mejia, Christian Mejia, Jayden Mejia, Mason Mejia, Brayden Mejia, Haylee Mejia, Ashlynn Mejia, Ashvin Palaniswamy, Alex Carbajal, Sergio Carbajal, Jaime Carbajal, Gabriel Rosales, Ariadna Zoe Rosales, and Christian Giovanne Rosales; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Edwardo Mejia.
