Ennema Herman 1899-1983

ENNEMA, SCHUITEMAN, STINGER, BRENNEMAN

Herman Ennema, 83, of Orange City died Thursday in the Hertiage House Nursing home.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Central Reformed church in Sioux Center. The Rev. Dennis Wilcox officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery under direction of the Memorial Funertal home in Sioux Centert.

Mr. Ennema was born June 30, 1899, in the Netherlands. He came to the United State and to Sioux County at the age of 8. He married Grace Schuiteman Feb 27, 1923 in Sioux Center. They farmed near Sioux Center. She died Jan 31, 1948. He married Viola Stinger Aug 18, 1954 at Mobridge, SD. They lived on a farm near Sioux Center. She died March 3, 1982.

Survivors include three sons Andrew Brenneman of Rock Rapids, Art Brennman and Herman Brenneman, both of Sioux Center; four daughters, Mrs. John (Tracy)Hoogland, Mrs. Bertha Vermeer and Mrs. Donald (Anna Mae) Broek, all of Sioux Center and Mrs. Martin (Wilmina) Wynia of Maurice; four stepchildren; 23 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren
