SIOUX CENTER, Iowa — Mrs. John T. DeBoer, 83, of Sioux Center, died Oct. 5 at a Sioux Center hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 7 in the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerrit Rezelnian will officiate. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. DeBoer, the former Kate Vanderwilt was born Oct. 20, 1893, at Sioux Center. She was married March 7, 1912, at Sioux Center. Mr. DeBoer died May 4, 1948. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Herman (Hertilda) DeVries of Gainsville, Tex., and Mrs. William R. (Esther) Beernink of Sioux Center; seven grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
